{ Of Learning, Graduation, Photoshoot and Dramas }

Other than collecting my graduation gown from Serangoon Broadway on friday night, the entire weekend was dedicated to my korean dramas. :) Im so into the Korean culture now. I love their dramas, their food, their fashion and their language. I have this itchy idea to learn their language now so that i can understand their conversation without relying so much on the english subtitles.

Speaking of learning, i have the intention to further my studies. Dont get me wrong, im not into the paper chase. Its just that i realise i need the papers for me to advance in my job. I cant be sitting down here doing filing everyday isnt it? I was looking through a few Masters program and i realise i need approx SGD$50K for the course fees and miscellaneous expenses. Hmmm... Must start saving now. The program requires 2 years of working experience which i in the meantime can save some $. Think i will go for the part time 2.5 year program as the opportunity cost of doing a full time degree is significantly huge.

Back to friday, it was a mini gathering for me as i saw a few familar faces at the studio. First was YanTing and JianNing, then it was Melissa, Elaine, Shirlyn and Fuzah. After waiting for 45 minutes, its finally my turn. It is funny how that uncle gave me a medium sized regalia instead of the XL tat i ordered by self measurement and with guidelines from their list. I have doubts initially with the medium but he assured me that it will definately fit me. Well, i think uncle is really experienced as the regalia fitted me as though i had it tailored made. :)
Uncle also recommended me to wear pants, as a skirt will make me have that pregnant look. Haha. Is he hinting that I have a big tummy? So yup, im will be wearing a black pants with a white long sleeve shirt and a 2 inch black wedges for easy walking. I reckon there will be walking around alot on that day takign pictures with my family and friends. There is definately no room for angry feet.

&... During our 45 minute wait at the studio, Mr Lee decided to place a deposit for the pictures. We know that they might not be the best, but we just wanted the convenience. Its an open dated receipt so i still haven really decided when to have the photoshoot, what size will be the photo and what frame to match the canvas. The current idea now is to have one family potrait, one personal picture and one with Mr Lee. :)

Today, im heading home straight after work to start on a new korean serial. Will also find out the prices of the Korean language class.
