{ Our comfy nest }

I wanted to have day pics for the room, unfortunately, I haven had the time to as im rushing off to work every morning... So these are the night shots.

Just in case you are wondering, our bed is on top of the platform due to space constrains... The platform and wardrobe are made by the same contractors who did the house, the chandelier is from Silica lighting -balestier, the wallpaper is from goodrich, the Sony Bravia and the High-fi system are from Best Denki, the shelving units, curtain rod, curtains and dustbin are from Ikea.

As for the tatami, its from Geylang Serai market. Although the tatami does not really go with the entire "look" of the room, we decided to go with it anyway as we wanted to protect the platform from scratches.

Hope to have day pics soon....

&... on date night last thurs, we went to Far East Flora to get some plants for our window outside our room. Afterwards, we went to this korean restaurant in East Coast Park.
Initially, we wanted to have Japanese food at Waraku. However, Mr Lee changed his mind after seeing the queue. :(

On entry, we were presented with the menu where the chinese waitress mentioned that it is the restaurant's policy to order at least 2 BBQ items before we are entitled to the panchan set and the vegetables for wrapping the BBQ meat. Although I was very displeased, Mr Lee decided to order anyway since we are already there. Therefore, we ended up ordering 2 of their BBQ items. One, BBQ angus beef (160g) @$35 and item 2, the BBQ pork belly (160g) @ $22. As I was craving for a hot soup, we also ordered the Ginseng Chicken Soup @$18.

Ambience- 4 stars

Service- 5 stars

Food presentation- 5 stars

Food quality for Panchan (side dishes)- 5 stars

Food quality for BBQ items- 1 stars

Price- 2 stars

Seriously, I will only go back there because of the service. The total bill ended up to be $90 for 2 persons... Food quality wise, I still prefer Hyang To Gol at Amara Hotel. As for value for money Korean meals, I prefer Togi at East Coast road or Folk Village at Joo Chiat road. Their set lunches is below $20 per paxs and although the Panchan is not as delicious as this one, the BBQ items are good....
