Dropped Nicky off at the Pet shop for full grooming before driving all the way to woodlands industrial park to check out the sofa's warehouse. Mum wanted to go take a look before exchanging our new sofa for another model as the one they sent over the other day was not suitable.

This morning, Nicky had a round of deticking done. We used the traditional method of rubbing Nicky with grated coconut. (Just in case you guys are wondering, grated coconut is the ones that people use to cook curry.) Sure enough, after 1/2 hour, the ticks and the fleas all surfaced on her fur and it was an easier task removing them. The rational behind this coconut thingy is that the nice sweet scent of the fruit would attract these parasites. To make sure she is competely cured, i made an appointment with the groomer to get her hair trimmed short.

Nicky is nice to see, nice to touch and nice to play with. However, its takes a lot of time and effort to take care of her. It can be quite tedious mantaining her snowy white coat. My maid actually told me Nicky needs to get her fur combed 3 times a day. Crazy, i dont even comb my hair 3 times a day.

Btw, tommorrow is date night. I cant wait to have a nice quiet dinner and go to the movies. Oooo... Transformers! More than meets the eye.
