{ Home Sweet Home }

The 4D/3N trip to KL was ok. Went there earlier with Mr Lee and met up with my parents and brother at Sunway Lagoon for his bowling competition. The itinerary was great as we really went to many places.

Day 1- arrive sunway lagoon (1430), Took cab to KL for check in at our hotel. Walked to Berjaya Times Square followed by night shopping at Chinatown.

Day 2- KLCC aka Twin Towers followed by a short trip to the Mines Resort and shopping ard Bukit Bintang area

Day 3- Short shopping at BB plaza and Sungei Wang followed by a train ride to Sunway Lagoon for brothers bowling competition and shopping.

Day 4- Laze in bed before meeting family for lunch at "Huang Gong" aka Imbi Palace Restaurant in KL for super good chinese food before departure.

The lunch before we had today was super yummy. We each had claypot sharkfin with crabmeat, a serving of "kiwi" clams each, peaking duck, steam live prawns and assorted dim sum.

I did loads of window shopping but also nothing much to buy. :-( I reckon i wasnt really in shopping mood... However, I managed to get my red pumps similar to the one me and my friends saw at far east the other day. :)

We didnt stay in a great hotel either as all rooms in KL were already full due to the holiday season. However, the location was superb. Located at the heart of Bukit Bintang- a heaven for shopping queens and walking distance to Berjaya Times Square, where there is an indoor theme park. To top it up, there was a 400m stretch of roadside stalls for us to savour the local delights.

Btw, the North South Highway was flooded due to the rain. Yeap, the flood waters caused some traffic jams on our way back. But we managed to come back real early. Left KL at 2pm and arrived in Spore at 6pm. Very fast considering the jam.
