Does it mean that this is the only day that couples remember their partners? It doesnt have to be flowers or a nice dinner on that day to express their love for each other. Its the daily and consistency that matters to me. I hate people who simply call their florist to place their orders and having a stranger deliver it over. Is that it? Woman swoon over the flowers just because they receive flowers just like the others on this particular day. Come on!

I do admit I use to be a sucker for flowers and it could really make my day. But the most important issue is whether the other half really meant giving it with his heart or he probably just want to shut her up.

I didnt go out yesterday. In fact, I hated the commercialized valentines day. I am disgusted when i see a couple all lovey dovey, she holding a bouquet of flowers, wearing matching couple t-shirts and showing the whole world how blissful they are. Has it become a show off thing? There is nothing wrong to be dateless for valentine's day. A guy called my girlfriend on a date just because he is dateless. Is that considered an acheivement, that he is finally not dateless?

I am not trying to be negative, but i simply hate fake people. People who do things for the sake of doing it.

It is a very special day for us yesterday. It was a very quiet and relaxed affair. Just us in my room dining into a five course dinner that i prepared. He bought me flowers and personally gave them to me at midnight to my surprise. To me, Valentine's day is not about showing off nor dinning at fancy restaurants, its about showing affections to your love ones.
We didnt take any photos because its meant to be private. :)
